Responsibilities

Planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in one or more subjects according to the curriculum. Assessing and/or grading students' knowledge, skills, and development. Documentation and reporting of students' results, absences, and other tasks are included in the assignment, as well as participating in parent meetings, development talks, conferences, and other meetings.

As a pedagogical leader, you have an important role in creating a safe, stimulating, and democratic learning environment for students. The work involves significant collaboration with colleagues.

Mentorship is included in the assignment.

Qualifications

For employment, a degree and teaching certification in German and English for grades 7-9 is required, as well as knowledge of the school's governing documents and curricula for your qualifications.

The assignment requires good pedagogical insights and the ability to collaborate and create good relationships with students and colleagues. As a teacher, you need to feel secure and be clear in your role.

Previous work with students in need of support is an advantage. We may also be interested in candidates with other pedagogical education and can then offer a temporary employment according to the Education Act.

More about the position

Full-time position starting August 1 or by agreement. Seasonal employment with 35 hours of scheduled working time and 10 hours of trust time per week on a full-time basis.

Porsnässkolan is a school that includes about 220 students in grades 7-9, and about 26 people work here.
